The Person Behind StoneLink

A freelance software engineer who genuinely enjoys building things that work.

Hi, I'm Roy.

I'm a freelance software engineer and the founder of StoneLink LLC. I work with individuals and businesses to design and build software that solves real problems — whether that's a custom web application, an automation workflow, or a brand-new SaaS product.

I started StoneLink because I wanted to do work that matters — directly with the people who need it, without the overhead of a large agency. When you work with StoneLink, you're working directly with me. That means clear communication, honest timelines, and software built the right way.

I care about understanding your goals before writing a single line of code. The best software doesn't just technically function — it fits naturally into how you or your customers work.

When I'm not building, I'm usually exploring new technologies, contributing to side projects, or thinking about how to make software simpler and more reliable.

Let's Work Together
🤝

Direct & Personal

You work with me, not a team of strangers. Every project gets my full attention.

🔍

Problem-First Thinking

I start by understanding the problem deeply before jumping to a solution.

📐

Clean, Maintainable Code

Software you can build on. Not just something that works today and breaks tomorrow.

Respect for Your Time

Honest timelines, no surprises, and responsive communication throughout.

📦

Delivered & Deployed

I see projects through to the end — including deployment, testing, and handoff.

Tools & Technologies

I'm language and framework agnostic — I use what's right for the job.

🐍

Python

Backend services, automation scripts, data pipelines, and Flask/Django applications.

🟨

JavaScript / Node

Frontend interfaces, REST APIs, and full-stack web applications.

☁️

AWS & Cloud

Deployment, infrastructure, serverless functions, and managed cloud services.

🗄️
